Alla Kolpakova graduated from the Moscow State Technical University named after A.N. Kosygin, the Faculty of Applied Arts. At present she is an associate professor of the Department of Drawing and Painting of the Institute of Arts, the Moscow State University of Design and Technology. She is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, and a participant and diploma winner of Moscow, Russian and international art exhibitions. Her works are displayed in Russian museums and abroad.
Alla Kolpakova's graphic works are heavily populated, homely, warm, and lively. One is tempted to enter this recognizable world, look around carefully and slowly, and discuss every detail and every element. Alla treats her characters with love and soft humor, and it appeals to the gallerygoer by involving them in the game of association.
